What is MindTrace?
MindTrace is a digital tool that helps you track your thoughts, recognize patterns, and share them with your therapist to make sessions more effective.

Who is MindTrace for?
MindTrace is for anyone who wants to improve mental clarity, manage unhelpful thinking, and build healthier thought patterns. It can be especially valuable for people experiencing stress, anxiety, or self-doubt, as well as those focused on personal growth.

Is MindTrace a replacement for therapy?
No. MindTrace is not a substitute for therapy, counseling, or medical treatment. It’s a companion tool that supports therapy by helping you capture and share your thought patterns between sessions.

Using MindTrace

How does MindTrace work?
You log your thoughts in the app, and MindTrace helps you identify common cognitive distortions (like “all-or-nothing thinking” or “catastrophizing”). You can also export your entries to share directly with your therapist before sessions.

How often should I use it?
There’s no required schedule. Simply log a thought whenever you notice a negative or unhelpful pattern. Over time, consistent use builds awareness and makes your progress easier to track.

Do I need to know CBT beforehand?
Not at all. MindTrace introduces each distortion and guides you step by step to recognize and categorize your thoughts.

Privacy & Security

Are my thoughts private?
Yes. Your entries are encrypted and stored securely. Only you can access them. We never sell your data.

Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. You can download your entries at any time, export them into PDF or CSV files for a selected time period, or permanently delete your account and all associated data.

Is there a free version?
Yes. MindTrace offers a 7-day free trial for all users. You can cancel anytime during the trial period.

Which devices does MindTrace work on?
